镀锌钢与不锈钢: 户外规格指南
镀锌钢与不锈钢: 户外规格指南
When the structure lives outdoors, buyers ask the same question: hot-dip galvanized carbon steel, or stainless steel? Both resist corrosion, but they work in different ways and cost very differently.
How Galvanized Steel Protects Itself
A zinc coating (typically 80 – 120 µm) is metallurgically bonded to the steel. Zinc corrodes sacrificially, so even scratches down to the steel still protect the underlying metal. It is cheap, structurally familiar, and lasts 20 – 50 years in rural and urban atmospheres. Browse our 镀锌圆管, galvanized angle 和 galvanized channel.
How Stainless Steel Protects Itself
Stainless relies on a thin, self-healing chromium oxide film (18 % Cr minimum). It does not need coating and stays bright for decades. 304 handles normal outdoor air; 316L is needed in coastal or chloride environments. It costs roughly 3 – 5× galvanized carbon steel. 看看我们的 304 床单 和 316L plate.
| Factor | 镀锌 | Stainless 304/316L |
|---|---|---|
| 成本 | 低的 | 高的 |
| Coastal / chloride | Corrodes faster | 316L strongly recommended |
| Appearance | Matte silver spangle | 明亮的, polished options |
| Maintenance | Inspect touch-ups | Almost none |
Decision Rule
Use galvanized for budget outdoor structures in normal atmosphere. Use 316L for coastal, chemical or food-contact applications where long-term appearance and hygiene matter. For general tie wire, 看看我们的 GI binding wire.
