Certificates and material documentation

Before ordering, specify the material grade, applicable standard and documentation required for your project. Certificate availability and inspection arrangements must be confirmed for the particular material and order.

What to confirm before purchase

• Material test certificate requirements, including chemical composition and mechanical properties.
• Traceability between the supplied material, heat or batch identification and the accompanying report.
• Any independent inspection, testing or destination-specific requirements.
• For a system certificate, verify the certificate holder, scope, issuing body and validity.

A supplier system certificate, a material test report and a third-party inspection report serve different purposes. Please request the documentation relevant to your order rather than assuming that every product has the same certification.
