Plato de aluminio 5083 is a high-strength aluminum-magnesium (Al-Mg) alloy from the 5000 serie, specifically developed for marine and shipbuilding applications. It delivers the highest strength among the non-heat-treatable aluminum alloys, combined with exceptional corrosion resistance in seawater, excellent weldability, and outstanding low-temperature toughness. Nuestro 5083 aluminum plates are produced per ASTM B209, GB/T 3880, EN 485 and ABS/DNV/GL/LR marine class rules, available in O, H116, H321 and H112 tempers, with custom sizes, certified for shipbuilding, offshore platforms, pressure vessels and cryogenic applications.
