5052 hoja de aluminio is an Al-Mg alloy (≈ 2.5 % magnesio) in H32 strain-hardened and stabilized temper. It combines medium strength, outstanding atmospheric and seawater corrosion resistance, and good formability — widely used where 1060 o 3003 is not strong enough.

Aplicaciones
5052 sheet is used in ship hulls and superstructures, pressure vessels, fuel tanks, truck and bus body panels, brake shoes, equipo de cocina, signage and road signs, and automotive trim.
